We're planning to sail around the world on sailboat Pinta from april 2022 onwards, for as long as time will tell. For now, we live on our boat and have lots of projects to complete before we set sail: tag along to follow our story!
The
Pinta
Project
Courtesy Flags
Together with some other sailors, among which Sans Souci who featured it in their vlog, we picked up a project to make courtesy flags ourselves. Buying one flag which to cut up, is way cheaper than buying them separately!
You can e-mail us at carolienwolsink@gmail.com for the file
and instructions so you can pick up this project yourself!
ABOUT LIFE
ON THE PINTA
We bought this 1986 Jeanneau Sun Legende 41 in 2019. A decent upgrade from our student rooms! No big Marie Kondo clearance needed for us. We totally love our first two years aboard, with the exception of some mold surprises here and there. And ofcourse.. some hidden technical issues. Nevertheless, some of the instruments were also new, as one of the previous owners also wanted to take the Pinta around the world. He passed away before his dream came true. More proof that life can slip away before you know it, and that we should continue our first summers aboard onto the great sees. The best moment to set sail is yesterday, right?

Or Amsterdam-Oost, as we like to call it.
It's only 20 minutes to get to the center of Amsterdam. And more importantly: it's only 5 minutes to get to the IJmeer! We wouldn't have found such an open sailing spot near any harbour in Amsterdam, so now we got best of both worlds!
